For those that missed it on three other pages of this site or can not be bothered to read it, avi.NET, index.NET and pgc.NET are .NET applications, and like all other .NET applications, they require the latest Microsoft .NET Framework to be installed on your PC. For most people, this will already be installed as it is available via the normal 'Windows Update' procedure.
Requirements:
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 to be installed on your PC (windows update).
- A 32 bit (x86) version of Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.
Please Note:
- These programs do NOT work under an x64 operating system.
- Since 15th March 2009, avi.NET has been updated to support both the latest multi-thread codecs, DIVX 7 and XVID.
- You MUST use the XVID codec within this package, the 1.2.1 multi-thread version. Failure to do so will result in incorrect file sizes being generated for your encode. (be careful of other programs over-writing this XviD version!).
