As I shall say again, for those that missed it on three other pages of this site or can not be bothered to read it, avi.NET and pgc.NET are .NET applications, and like all other .NET applications, they require the Microsoft .NET Framework to be installed on your PC. For most people, this will already be installed as it is available via the normal 'Windows Update' procedure.
Important Notes:
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to be installed on your PC (windows update).
avi.NET / pgc.NET are for the 32 bit (x86) versions of Microsoft Windows only!
They will NOT work properly for the 64-bit (x64) versions of Windows/CPU.
| avi.NET and pgc.NET are programmed/compiled under Windows Vista |

avi.NET (PAK1) has been update (15th March) to support both the latest multi-thread video codecs DIVX 7 and XVID, latest multi-thread/core version of XVID available in PAK2. Latest DIVX available from divx.com.

Download PAK1 Lastest Versions: Latest Released: 15th Mar 2009 |
Package contains "avi.NET v2.5.8.5" and "AVISynth v2.5.8". Simple to use AVI conversion utility to make AVI files that look and play great on your standalone, AVI compatible, DVD player. AVISynth is always needed for avi.NET to function. |

Download PAK2 Latest Versions: Latest Released: 15th Mar 2009 |
Contains: XVID v1.2.1 (video codec), VobSUB v2.2.3 (subtitle filter), ac3Filter v1.51a (ac3 audio filter package), pgc.NET v2.0.0.0 (dvd pgc ripper), HDTV to MPEG2 v1.11.94 (high definition file utility), DVD Shtink v3.2 (transcoder). |
Not all files are always needed and will depend on the files you already have on your PC. avi.NET requires PAK1 and at least a DivX or XviD video codec installed to function. If you do not have the DivX video codec installed, PAK2 includes the XviD codec which works perfectly with avi.NET. Be careful of the XviD version you use..... always use the one from this site.
